Job Description:
For a client in the rail transport industry, we are looking for an experienced security system engineer.
Main Responsibilities:
Operation and maintenance of existing global network security solutions
Monitoring and analysis of security events
Implementation of hardware and software changes to firewall systems as part of change management
Collaboration on exciting projects
Further development of existing architectures and security concepts based on requirements and existing "best practices
Processing of various 3rd level support requests and assistance from our on-call team
Qualifications:
Completed computer science education or several years of professional experience in the IT security environment
Professional experience with firewall systems in local networks or similar
Good technical know-how in several of the following areas: Network Security, Microsoft Windows, firewall infrastructures and AV solutions
Fluent in German and English
Good communication skills and self-organization
Willingness to travel
